The head and crank arrangement.
The lamp being illuminated. A 1mm ole was drilled up into the casting from the base, and then another through the 'lens' until they met. The 'lens' was then drilled out. The LED was pushed up into the hole, such that it shines through the 'lens' hole. The wires then run down the doll, under the platform and down the post.

Parts folded up and test-fitted with operating crank.

Placed early on on the layout. For some reason I painted the handrails white, this was corrected - luckily I could get to it then.
And painted.
I thought this kit, or rather kits, you get two in the bag, would be simple and I suppose it would if I'd not decided to make it working. Adding the light, which came out nicely with the shady illumination I remember these having, was simple enough, but making arm work was tricky as hiding the crank wasn't really possible. Still, it was done.
