Using the Hobby Holidays working leaf springs.
The top of the chassis complete
Using a cigarette paper to solder the pivot so that it still moves.
It all works marvelously well.
All the gubbins underneath. Really good stuff.
Ready for paint.
This is a wagon I'd had on my list for a long time. You used to get a discount on a pack of six, so I designed the appropriate siding for them. The the deal ended. It was when I went to order another one I discovered the sad news about Mr. Parkins. I replaced the buffers again, and as for livery - well, ideally I want to make it late BR departmental but as nothing seems available transfer wise I might have to go down the classic Arifix kit route.
